Step-by-Step Instructions

How to use a template

  1. Log in to Your Oviond Account

  2. Choose Your Client

    • On the home page, select the client that you want to work with.

  3. Click 'New Project'

    • Click the 'New Project' button at the top right-hand side of the screen.

  4. Start From Template

    • Click 'From a Template', then click 'Next'.

  5. Select a Template

    • Search for a template or scroll down the list to find the one you need.

    • Choose from single data source templates or multiple data source templates.

  6. Click 'Next'

    • Click 'Next' to proceed.

  7. Name the Project and Choose a Theme

    • Enter a name for your project and choose a theme. Note that these can be edited at a later stage.

  8. Click 'Create Project'

  9. Open and Edit the Project

    • The project will open automatically in the Workspace Editor.

  10. Connect Data Source

    • If you have not connected the data source, click 'Connect' on the data widget to do so now.

  11. Edit the Template

    • Everything on a template project can be edited. Data widgets can be built from scratch, or you can use the asset library's pre-built queries to save time.

How to use assets

  1. Navigate to Asset Library

    • Click on the Asset Library in the toggle menu on the right.

  2. Choose an Asset

    • Browse through the pre-built queries or grouped queries available in the Asset Library.

    • You can also search for specific assets using the search bar.

  3. Drag and Drop Asset

    • Drag the desired asset from the drawer onto the canvas in your project workspace.

  4. Customize the Asset

    • Click on the asset to customize its settings, such as data source, display options, and more.

  5. Connect Data Source

    • If the asset requires a data source connection, click 'Connect' on the data widget to authenticate and integrate the necessary data.

  6. Edit the Asset

    • Modify the asset as needed to fit your project's requirements. You can change its appearance, data specifications, and other settings.

  7. Save the Project

    • Click 'Save' to save your changes.
