Step-by-Step Instructions

How to Start a Project

  1. Log in to Your Oviond Account

  2. Choose Your Client

    • On the home page, select the client you want to start a new project for.

  3. Click 'New Project'

    • Click the 'New Project' button at the top right-hand side of the screen.

  4. Select 'From Scratch' or 'From a Template'

    • In the slide-over menu, select your choice and then click 'Next'.

  5. Choose Project Type

    • Select which type of project you need:

      • Dashboard: To view your marketing metrics on a single, full-screen dashboard. Ideal for account monitoring and quick insights (widget limit: 50).

      • Report: For a multi-page layout tailored for detailed and comprehensive assessment of your marketing data. Ideal for in-depth client reporting and analysis.

  6. Click 'Next'

    • Click 'Next' to proceed.

  7. Name Your Project and Select a Theme

    • Enter a name for your project and select a theme that suits your preferences.

  8. Create the Project

    • Click 'Create New Project' to save your new project.

  9. Open Project Workspace Editor

    • Your new project will automatically open in the Project Workspace Editor.

Client Sidebar Menu (left-hand side of canvas)

  1. Home

    • Click the Oviond logo to return to the home page.

  2. Client Projects

    • Click the list icon to return to the client's projects.

  3. Client Settings

    • Click the settings button for settings specific to the client.

Header (top of canvas)

  1. Client Logo and Project Name

    • The client logo and project name are displayed here. You can edit the project name using the text input field.

  2. Date Picker

    • Use the date picker to select the date range for your project data.

  3. Refresh Button

    • Click the refresh button to update the data in your project.

  4. Save

    • Click 'Save' to save any changes made to the project.

Toggle Menu (right-hand side of canvas)

  1. Arrow/X

    • Click the arrow to open and close the toggle menu.

  2. Add Content

    • Drag the required widget onto the canvas to add content to your project.

  3. Asset Library

    • Access prebuilt queries or groups of multiple widgets built by Oviond, as well as any assets you or your team have saved to your Asset Library.

  4. Automations

    • Use automations to send projects automatically to an email address.

  5. Data Sources

    • Integrate and authenticate data sources.

  6. Project Settings

    • Select a theme, edit the project name and description, choose sharing options, and set data refreshing options.
