This article will help you understand how to connect and use Pinterest on Oviond.
Pinterest Permissions
In order to pull your Pinterest data into Oviond, you will need an Admin or Account Owner role.
Connecting Pinterest To Oviond
In order to connect your Pinterest account to Oviond, you will need the email address and password for the Google account that the Pinterest account is associated with. You will only need to authenticate this email once on Oviond and then you will be able to connect to any Pinterest account that is associated with that email address.
Steps to follow to connect Pinterest as an integration on Oviond:
Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Pinterest to.
Click on Pinterest.
An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Pinterest Account") and you can change this here.
Click the Google Account you wish to connect to and then click Give Access.
Choose Default Pinterest in the integration connection pop-up on the right, and click Next.
Choose the Pinterest account.
Click Save
NB: if you have already signed into Pinterest on your device, Oviond will only require you to authorize the app and you won't need to use your login credentials.
Limitations With Pinterest On Oviond
You will need to have an Admin or Account Owner role in order to connect Pinterest on Oviond.
Reconnecting Pinterest To Oviond
If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Pinterest UA! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:
Please follow these steps:
Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.
if the widgets still don't load data
Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Pinterest account.
if the widgets still don't load data
Go to Manage Integrations and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
