Connecting Basecamp on Oviond

Basecamp Permissions

In order to pull your Basecamp data into Oviond, you will need to have the login credentials for the Basecamp account.

Connecting Basecamp To Oviond

In order to connect your Basecamp account to Oviond, you will need the email address or username and password of the Basecamp account.

Steps to follow to connect Basecamp as an integration on Oviond:

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Basecamp to.

  2. Click on Basecamp.

  3. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Basecamp Account") and you can change this here.

  4. Enter your email address or user name and click Next.

  5. Enter the password and click Log in.

  6. A window will open requesting that you authorize access, click Yes, I'll allow access.

  7. Choose Default Basecamp in the integration connection pop-up on the right, click Next.

  8. Choose the Basecamp account, click Next.

  9. Choose a project, click Save.

Limitations With Basecamp On Oviond

In order to pull your Basecamp data into Oviond, you need to have the login credentials for the Basecamp account.

Reconnecting Basecamp To Oviond

If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Basecamp! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:

Please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.

    if the widgets still don't load data

  2. Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Basecamp account.

  3. Go to Manage Integrations and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
