# Edit client details

Update the client name, website, timezone, currency, manager, or default theme.

Use client settings when a client changes name, website, reporting timezone, currency, or account owner.

Recommended checks after editing a client:

-   Confirm the client name still looks correct in reports.
    
-   Check that date-based widgets use the expected timezone.
    
-   Check money widgets if you changed currency.
    
-   Refresh the client screenshot if the website changed.
    

Changing client details should not remove existing reports or data sources.
