This article will help you understand how to connect and use Pingdom on Oviond.
In order to pull your Pingdom data into Oviond, you will need to have an Admin or Owner product role on the Pingdom account and then use an API key to connect to Oviond. To create an API key on Pingdom to use on Oviond, follow these steps:
Log in to your Pingdom account.
Go to Settings.
Click Pingdom API.
Click Add API token.
Fill in the name of the API token and select the access level Read-Write access.
Click Generate token.
Copy the token and use this when connecting Pingdom on Oviond.
Connecting Pingdom To Oviond
In order to connect your Pingdom account to Oviond, you will need the email address and password for the account in order to access the API token.
Steps to follow to connect Pingdom as an integration on Oviond:
Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Pingdom to.
Click on Pingdom.
Enter the API key and click Next.
Choose the Pingdom account you want to connect to.
Limitations With Pingdom On Oviond
You will need to have an Admin or Owner product role on the Pingdom account in order to access the API needed to connect to Oviond.
Reconnecting Pingdom To Oviond
If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Pingdom! Click here to connect or refresh.", please follow these steps:
Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.
if the widgets still don't load data
Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Pingdom account. You will need to add a new authenticated account and make sure you have used the correct API and domain.
