This article will help you understand how to connect and use Google Search Console on Oviond.

Google Search Console Permissions

In order to pull your Google Search Console data into Oviond, you will need to be an Owner or have Full Permission to the property. You can check the permission level you have to a property on Google Search Console by following these steps:

  1. Login to your Google Search Console account.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Go into the section called Users and permissions.

  4. Check that your permission lever is either Owner or Full.

Connecting Google Search Console To Oviond

In order to connect your Google Search Console account to Oviond all you will need is your Google login credentials (email address and password).

Steps to follow to connect Google Search Console as an integration on Oviond:

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Google Search Console to.

  2. Click on Google Search Console.

  3. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Google Search Console Account") and you can change this here.

  4. Click the Google Account you wish to connect to and then click Allow.

  5. Choose Default Google Search Console in the integration connection pop-up on the right.

  6. Choose the Google Search Console you want to connect to.

  7. Click Save.

Limitations With Google Search Console On Oviond

You will need to be an Owner or have permission with Full access to the account in order to connect Google Search Console on Oviond.

Reconnecting Google Search Console To Oviond

If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Google Search Console! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:

Please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.

    if the widgets still don't load data

  2. Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Google Search Console account.

  3. Go to Manage Integrations and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
