Connecting Campaign Monitor On Oviond

Steps to assist you in connecting Campaign Monitor on Oviond, including permissions, limitations, reconnecting, and possible error messages.

This article will help you understand how to connect and use Campaign Monitor on Oviond.

Campaign Monitor Permissions

Before connecting your Campaign Monitor account to Oviond, please ensure you have full access to the account you are looking to connect to.

If you have not been added with full access to the account, please contact the relevant person and request this access.

Follow these steps to check your current permission on the account:

  1. Log into your Campaign Monitor account.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow on your account icon at the top right of the screen, and select Manage Team.

  3. If you have full access, you will see the tag has full access next to the team member's name.

    Follow these steps to generate an API key:

  1. Log into your Campaign Monitor account.

  2. Click the drop-down arrow on your account icon at the top right of the screen, and select Account settings.

  3. Click API keys.

  4. If you have not yet generated an API key click Generate API key.

  5. Once the API key has been created click Show API key and copy it.

Connecting Campaign Monitor To Oviond

In order to connect your Campaign Monitor account to Oviond, you will need an API key.

Steps to follow to connect Campaign Monitor as an integration on Oviond:

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Campaign Monitor to.

  2. Click on Campaign Monitor.

  3. Add the API Key and click Next.

  4. Choose Default Campaign Monitor Account (you can change the name of the authentication here at a later stage).

  5. Choose the Account you want to connect to.

  6. Click Save.

Limitations With Campaign Monitor On Oviond

You will need to have full access to the account on Campaign Monitor in order to obtain the API key needed to connect to Oviond.

Data for Campaign Monitor is shown by Campaign and not by date. The API doesn't offer data over time.

Reconnecting Campaign Monitor To Oviond

If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Campaign Monitor! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:

  1. Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.

    if the widgets still don't load data

  2. Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Campaign Monitor account. You will need to add a new authenticated account and make sure you have used the correct API key.
