Connecting a new integration can often be stressful. How do you know if your account is set up correctly when you're working with so many different platforms? Sometimes something as simple as a permission level can prevent you from connecting that integration to Oviond. In this article, we will be helping you understand how to get started with HubSpot on Oviond.
Connecting HubSpot To Oviond
To connect your HubSpot account to Oviond all you will need your HubSpot login credentials (email address and password). Here is how to connect HubSpot to Oviond:
Open Oviond and navigate to the client you want to connect HubSpot to.
Click on HubSpot.
Enter a name for the authentication and click Next.
An authentication pop-up will appear. Enter your HubSpot login details (email address and password) and click Log In.
Select the account you would like to connect to Oviond and click on Choose Account.
Select the account you would like to pull data for in Oviond and click on Save.
Reconnecting HubSpot On Oviond
Working with APIs means that sometimes your integrations will need to be refreshed for security reasons. There are two error messages to look out for that can indicate that the integration needs to be refreshed: Error: You Have Encountered An Unknown Error or Error: Missing Or Incorrect Authentication Credentials.
If you refresh your dashboard or your reports and you are prompted with the above error message, you will need to refresh your integration. Learn more about how to refresh your integration token.
Only accounts with a Marketing Hub Professional, or Enterprise, or HubSpot CMS subscription will be able to access the Analytics API using an API key, therefore we are not able to connect with an account that does not fall into one of the above-mentioned plans.
