This article will help you understand how to connect and use LinkedIn Ads on Oviond.

LinkedIn Ads Permissions

In order to pull your LinkedIn Ads data into Oviond you will need to have access as an Account manager.

To check if you have the correct access to the LinkedIn Ads account, follow these steps:

  1. Log into your LinkedIn Ads Campaign Manager.

  2. Choose the account you want to check the user access to.

  3. Clicks Account settings.

  4. Click on Manage access.

  5. Next to your profile name, you will see the current access you have been given to the account.

Connecting LinkedIn Ads To Oviond

To connect your LinkedIn Campaign Manager to Oviond, all you will need is your LinkedIn login credentials. All the accounts that you have been given Account manager access to will show up under the drop-down menu once the authentication has been completed.

Steps to follow to connect LinkedIn Ads as an integration on Oviond:

  1. Make sure you are logged out of LinkedIn Campaign Manager.

  2. Go into your Oviond account and navigate to the client you want to connect LinkedIn Ads to.

  3. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default LinkedIn Ads Account") and you can change this here. This will prompt you to log in to your LinkedIn Campaign Manager account with your email and password.

  4. Go through all the steps in the pop-up.

  5. Choose the LinkedIn Ads account you would like to connect to the client and click Save.

Limitations With LinkedIn Ads On Oviond

You will need an Account manager role in order to connect LinkedIn Ads on Oviond.

The authentication token for LinkedIn Ads is only valid for 3 months (90) days. This means that every 90 days, the token for LinkedIn Ads will need to be refreshed in the Manage Integrations section of your Oviond account.

Reconnecting LinkedIn Ads To Oviond

If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for LinkedIn Ads! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:

Please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.

    if the widgets still don't load data

  2. Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct LinkedIn Ads account.

  3. Go to Manage Integrations and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
