# User roles and permissions

Control what team members can access.

Permissions help protect client data and account settings.

Use the least access that still lets the person do their job.

-   Admins should be limited to trusted account managers or operators.
    
-   Reporting users may only need access to clients and projects.
    
-   Read-only access is best for people who need to review but not edit.
    

Review user access regularly, especially when team members leave or change roles.
