Connecting Basecamp on Oviond

Step-by-Step Instructions

Connecting Basecamp to Oviond

1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Basecamp to.

2. Select Project or Start a New Project

   • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

   • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

   • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

5. Select Basecamp.

6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Basecamp Account") and you can change this in Data Sources.

7. Enter your email address or username and click 'Next'.

8. Enter the password and click 'Log in'.

9. A window will open requesting that you authorize access, click 'Yes, I'll allow access'.

10. Choose 'Default Basecamp' in the integration connection pop-up on the right, click 'Next'.

11. Choose the Basecamp account, click 'Next'.

12. Choose a project, click 'Save'.

Reconnecting Basecamp to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

Please follow these steps:

1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

   if the widgets still don't load data

2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Basecamp account.

3. Go to Data Sources and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
