If you need to be added as a user, these are the steps that can be followed by anyone that is already a manager on the account:

  1. Log into your Xero account.

  2. Click on the organization name, select Settings, then click 'Users'.

  3. Click 'Invite a user'.

  4. Enter the new user's first name, last name, and email address. The email address you send the invite to will be the user's login email address.

  5. Select which features you want them to access, and a user role for each feature.

  6. Click 'Send Invite'.

Connecting Xero to Oviond

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Xero to.

  2. Select Project or Start a New Project

    • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

    • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

  3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

    • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

  4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

  5. Click on Xero.

  6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Xero Account") and you can change this in Data Sources.

  7. Fill in your email and password if you are not logged into Xero on another widow.

  8. Choose the Organization you want to connect to then click 'Allow access'.

  9. Select Default Xero Account then click 'Next'.

  10. Choose the Xero account to connect to.

  11. Click 'Save'.

Reconnecting Xero to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

  1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

  2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Xero account.

  3. Go to Data Sources and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
