Connecting Vimeo on Oviond

Introduction

This guide provides the steps necessary to connect and use Vimeo on Oviond, including permissions, limitations, and troubleshooting.

• Ensure you have an Oviond account with administrative access.

• Have your Vimeo login credentials (Username and Password or Google Account) ready.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Connecting Vimeo to Oviond

1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Vimeo to.

2. Select Project or Start a New Project

   • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

   • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

   • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

5. Select Vimeo.

6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Vimeo Account") and you can change this in Data Sources.

7. Enter your Vimeo Username and Password into the authentication pop-up or use your Google Account to login and follow the rest of the prompts.

8. Choose 'Default Vimeo Account' in the integration connection pop-up on the right and click 'Next'.

9. Choose a Vimeo account and click 'Save'.

Limitations With Vimeo on Oviond

You are only able to pull Lifetime data for Vimeo on Oviond.​

Reconnecting Vimeo to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

Please follow these steps:

1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

   if the widgets still don't load data

2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Vimeo account.

   if the widgets still don't load data

3. Go to Data Sources and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
