In order to connect your WordPress website to Oviond, you need the login details for the WordPress website, including the username and password associated with the website.

Connecting WordPress to Oviond

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you want to connect WordPress to.

  2. Select Project or Start a New Project

    • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

    • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

  3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

    • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

  4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

  5. Click on WordPress.

  6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default WordPress Account") and you can change this under Data Sources.

  7. Fill in the Email address/Username field then click 'Continue'.

  8. Fill in the password then click 'Log In'.

  9. Click 'Approve'.

  10. Choose the WordPress account to connect to.

  11. Click 'Save'.

Additional Information

Limitations with WordPress on Oviond

  • This integration is only for WordPress.com websites. WordPress.org websites are not supported by the API used for this integration.

  • Self-hosted websites or websites hosted on a third-party platform require Jetpack to be installed as a plugin on your WordPress website to pull data into Oviond.

  • The WordPress integration will only allow you to pull lifetime data.

Reconnecting WordPress to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

  1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

  2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct WordPress account.
