Connecting Pinterest on Oviond

Introduction

Prerequisites

• Ensure you have an Oviond account with administrative access.

• Access to your Pinterest account with Admin or Account Owner role.

Step-by-Step Instructions

In order to connect your Pinterest account to Oviond, you will need the email address and password for the Google account that the Pinterest account is associated with.

You will only need to authenticate this email once on Oviond and then you will be able to connect to any Pinterest account that is associated with that email address.

Connecting Pinterest to Oviond

1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Pinterest to.

2. Select Project or Start a New Project

   • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

   • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

   • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

5. Click on Pinterest.

6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Pinterest Account") and you can change this in Data Sources.

7. Click the Google Account you wish to connect to and then click 'Give Access'.

8. Choose Default Pinterest in the integration connection pop-up on the right and click 'Next'.

9. Choose the Pinterest account.

10. Click 'Save'.

Note: if you have already signed into Pinterest on your device, Oviond will only require you to authorize the app and you won't need to use your login credentials.

Reconnecting Pinterest to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

Please follow these steps:

1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

   if the widgets still don't load data

2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Pinterest account.

3. Go to Data Sources and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
