Connecting Mailchimp on Oviond

Mailchimp Permissions

There are no user permissions in Mailchimp, but you will need login credentials to the Mailchimp account in order to connect it as an integration on Oviond.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Connecting Mailchimp to Oviond

1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Mailchimp to.

2. Select Project or Start a New Project

   • Select the project you want to work on or start a new project.

   • If starting a new project, it will automatically open in the Workspace Editor.

3. Access the Project Workspace Editor

   • Click 'Edit' to access the Project Workspace Editor if you are working on an existing project.

4. In the action sidebar menu on the right, select Data Sources.

5. Click Mailchimp.

6. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Mailchimp Account") and you can change in Data Sources.

7. Enter your Mailchimp Username and Password into the authentication pop-up and follow the rest of the prompts.

8. Choose 'Default Mailchimp Account' in the integration connection pop-up on the right and click 'Next'.

9. Choose a Mailchimp account and click 'Save'.

Limitations with Mailchimp on Oviond

• You are only able to pull Lifetime data for Mailchimp on Oviond.

Reconnecting Mailchimp to Oviond

If you get this error message on your report:

Please follow these steps:

1. Click on the refresh button in the widget or next to the date selector in the project.

   if the widgets still don't load data

2. Click on 'Connect' in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Mailchimp account.

3. Go to Data Sources and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
