# Export a report as PDF

Create a PDF version of a report.

PDF export is useful when clients want a downloadable or email-friendly report copy.

Before exporting:

-   Check that charts and tables load on screen.
    
-   Use the right report date range.
    
-   Keep pages tidy and avoid overly wide tables.
    
-   Preview the PDF before sending it to a client.
    

If a PDF fails or looks incomplete, try refreshing the report data, reducing very large pages, and testing again.
