Connecting a new integration can often be stressful. How do you know if your account is set up correctly when you're working with so many different platforms? Sometimes something as simple as a permission level can prevent you from connecting that integration to Oviond. In this article, we will be helping you understand how to get started with Mention on Oviond.
Connecting Mention To Oviond
To connect your Mention account to Oviond all you will need is your Mention login credentials (email address and password). Here is how to connect Mention to Oviond:
Open Oviond and navigate to the client you want to connect ActiveCampaign to.
Click on ActiveCampaign.
Enter a name for the authentication and click Next.
An authentication pop-up will appear. Enter in your Mention login details (email address and password) and click Connect Now.
Click Authorize to allow Oviond to connect to Mention.
Select the Mention account you would like to connect to Oviond and click Save.
Reconnecting Mention To Oviond
Working with API’s means that sometimes your integrations will need to be refreshed for security reasons. There are two error messages to look out for that can indicate that the integration needs to be refreshed: Error: You Have Encountered An Unknown Error or Error: Missing Or Incorrect Authentication Credentials.
If you refresh your dashboard or your reports and you are prompted with the above error message, you will need to refresh your integration . Learn more about how to refresh your integration.
Please note that our Mention integration will only allow you to pull lifetime data and you will not be able to pull data by date.
