Connecting a new integration can often be stressful. How do you know if your account is set up correctly when you're working with so many different platforms? Sometimes something as simple as a permission level can prevent you from connecting that integration to Oviond. In this article, we will be helping you understand how to get started with SE Ranking on Oviond.
SE Ranking Permissions
SE Ranking does not make use of permission levels but instead requires access to an API that allows you to connect the SE Ranking account to 3rd party applications like Oviond.
If you do not have access to the API key, please contact the relevant person and request that they provide you with the API key.
Connecting SE Ranking To Oviond
Log into SE Ranking.
Click on your Account icon and select Settings.
Click on the API tab and copy your API key.
Open Oviond and select the client you wish to connect SE Ranking to.
Click on the SE Ranking integration.
A pop-out will appear. Name the authentication for the integration.
Paste the API Key into the required field and click Next.
Select your SE Ranking Project and click on Save.
Reconnecting SE Ranking To Oviond
Working with APIs means that sometimes your integrations will need to be refreshed or re-added for security reasons. There are two error messages to look out for that can indicate that the integration needs to be refreshed: Error: You Have Encountered An Unknown Error or Error: Missing Or Incorrect Authentication Credentials.
In order to remove Sengrid from your account, you will need to first disconnect the integration from each client. Learn more about disconnecting an integration.
Once you have removed your SendGrid integration from all the connected clients, you will need to delete the integration from the Manage Integrations tab in the settings area. Learn more about deleting an integration.
After the integration has been completely removed from the account, return to your client project and reconnect the integration to the account. Learn more about adding an integration to an existing client.
Date Ranges With SE Ranking On Oviond
Rank check frequency depends on which SE Ranking plan you are subscribed to.
Subscription to either a daily, every 3 days, or weekly plan will alter how often your SE Ranking position check data in Oviond is updated.
If you are not sure what frequency your current plan allows, you can check this by:
Logging into your SE Ranking account.
Click on your Account icon and select Subscription.
Your frequency can then be seen until the “Ranking Check Frequency” limit.
