Connecting Vimeo On Oviond

This article will help you understand how to connect and use Vimeo on Oviond.

Vimeo Permissions

There are no user permissions in Vimeo but you will need login credentials to the Vimeo account in order to connect it as an integration on Oviond.

Connecting Vimeo To Oviond

To connect your Vimeo account to Oviond, all you will need is your Vimeo login credentials (Username and Password or Google Account).

Steps to follow to connect Vimeo as an integration on Oviond:

  1. Open Oviond and navigate to the client you wish to connect Vimeo to.

  2. An authentication pop-up will appear (The first authenticated account will automatically be called "Default Vimeo Account") and you can change this here.

  3. Enter your Vimeo Username and Password into the authentication pop-up or use your Google Account to login and follow the rest of the prompts.

  4. Choose Default Vimeo Account in the integration connection pop-up on the right, and click Next.

  5. Choose a Vimeo account, and click Save.

Limitations With Vimeo on Oviond

You are only able to pull Lifetime data for Vimeo on Oviond.

Reconnecting Vimeo To Oviond

If you get this error message on your report "Data not found for Vimeo! Click here to connect or refresh." that looks like this:

Please follow these steps:

  1. Click on the refresh button next to the date selector in the project.

    if the widgets still don't load data

  2. Go to the Integration page for the client or click on connect in the widget and make sure you have connected the correct Vimeo account.

  3. Go to Manage Integrations and refresh the token for the authenticated account you connected to the client.
